Jim Bodle (President and Owner)
Jim has had a 24-year career in the process and sanitary industries in the Northeast. Jim spent the past 14 years with the F.W. Webb Company after partnering with them in late 1999 to begin a start-up distribution business in the Biotech and Pharmaceutical marketplace. As the BioPharm division grew and prospered, in 2005 Jim assumed the additional responsibility for the Webb Pump Division. He then accepted the added responsibility of running the Webb Piping Products Division. Jim ran all three businesses concurrently (representing approximately $14mm in sales and 22 employees) until April of 2011 when he was promoted to Vice President of Industrial Sales for the overall organization. As Vice President, Jim held responsibility for the Industrial Sales efforts of F.W. Webb which represented approximately $200MM in sales of Pipe, Valves, and Fittings (PVF), Controls, Instrumentation, BioPharm, and Pumps. Jim was also intimately involved in several acquisitions throughout his tenure.
Ted Haley (Vice President of Sales)
Ted is widely-respected as a leading technical sales expert in the New England Market and is a highly-coveted resource for his client base. He has more than 15 years of experience in the sanitary segment and more than 27 years selling technically oriented products at the end-user and OEM levels. Ted and Jim previously worked together at Webb for 14 years, during which time they built the organization from $1MM in sales to just under $6MM; Ted managed the majority of high-volume client relationships during that time.
His ability to build strong, long-lasting client relationships at all levels of an organization is unparalleled and he will be an instrumental part of the future growth of Acuity.
Paul Varnom- Inside Sales and Operations Manager
Paul has an Electronics Engineering Degree from Guildford University in the UK and has had substantial experience in the automation, controls and instrumentation space. Most recently he was the Operations Manager for a major valve automation company based in England, with domestic operations in Rhode Island. In addition, he was the Automation and Service Manager for a start-up OEM that built highly-technical centrifugal separation skids for the Life Sciences sector, where he was responsible for the design and commissioning of the systems. His experience with electronics and instrumentation gives Acuity the expertise required as we tackle more complex systems and integration projects.
Keith Walls- Inside Sales and AP/AR Manager
Keith and Jim have a long track record together as they both worked at Webb for 10 years and interacted on a regular basis. Keith joined Acuity just after we opened for business and has been an instrumental part of building the backroom of the organization. We expect Keith to transition into retirement as 2017 progresses and our intention is to backfill his role and have him involved in the training process.
Joan Ivers joined the Acuity team in 2017 and manages our books on a daily basis and interacts with our CPA firm as required.
